American Girl Tea with Elizabeth Monroe at Highland

Saturday, August 27 – 10:30 a.m. - HIGHLAND (the Home of James Monroe) is hosting “American Girl Tea with Elizabeth Monroe.” Perfect for grandmothers and their granddaughters! Bring your American Girl doll and a picnic blanket to enjoy craft activities, American Girl trivia, and tea and refreshments with Elizabeth Monroe! Mrs. Monroe will also be available to pose for pictures with you and your doll. Participants must be accompanied by an adult. This event is in partnership with Charlottesville’s Barnes & Noble.

Charge is $5 per participant. Event is FREE to children under 5 and adults. Visit James Monroe’s Highland, located at 2050 James Monroe Pkwy. Highland is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April through October, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. November through March. Admission is regularly $14 and $8 for local residents.
